Privacy policy

Arc Transfer · RWD Industries LLC, Texas, USA · Effective 20 October 2026

Arc Transfer moves files and clipboard text between your own devices. Every transfer is encrypted end to end: only your devices hold the keys. We have no accounts, no ads and no analytics, and we never sell data.

On your Wi-Fi (the default)

Devices find each other on your local network and send directly to each other. Nothing goes to us. Arc Transfer stores your paired devices' keys and names, your transfer history and your settings on each device only.

Remote transfer (optional, off until you turn it on)

When paired devices are on different networks, files go through our relay, hosted by Fly.io.

Diagnostics and crash reports (optional)

If you turn on Help improve Arc Transfer (off by default), the app keeps counts such as transfer successes and failures, speeds and crash summaries on your device for 14 days. They're sent only when you tap Send, never automatically, and never include file names, contents, clipboard text, IP addresses or device names. You can view or delete them at any time. Crash reports are saved on your device; you read them and choose whether to share them.

Purchases

Subscriptions are handled by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We never see your payment details. Your device checks with the store whether Remote transfer is active.

Your choices

Children

Arc Transfer isn't directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, for example Texas, California or other US states, you may have privacy rights such as access and deletion. Because we hold almost nothing, most requests are handled by the controls above; contact us for anything else and we'll respond within 45 days. We never sell personal data.

Changes and contact

We'll post changes here before they take effect. Questions: contact our support team.
